Facebook & Instagram Integrations

This policy applies only to integrations initiated by authorized community administrators.

Hind Social (“we”, “our”, or “the Platform”) provides a solution that enables communities to manage content, events, and communications. This policy describes how Hind Social accesses and uses Meta Platform Data when community administrators choose to connect Facebook or Instagram accounts to their community.


Scope of the Integration

Hind Social allows community admins to connect their official Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business account to enable content publishing and live event streaming directly from the Platform.

The integration is optional and disabled by default.


Connecting a Facebook Page

Community admins can connect an official Facebook Page to publish content directly from Hind Social's Admin panel for the community

  • You must be a community admin on Hind Social

  • You must have admin or editor access to the Facebook Page

  • The Page must be an official Page, not a personal profile

How to connect Facebook page

  1. Log in to Hind Social

  2. Go to your community's Admin panel

  3. Navigate to Integrations

  4. Click Connect next to Facebook

  5. You will be redirected to Meta’s secure login screen

  6. Sign in with the Facebook account that manages the Page

  7. Select the Facebook Page you want to connect

  8. Review the permissions requested

  9. Click Allow to grant access

Once completed, the selected Facebook Page will appear as Connected in the Integrations section.

Connecting an Instagram Business Account

Hind Social allows admins to connect an Instagram Business account to publish posts directly from the platform.

  • You must be a community admin

  • The Instagram account must be a Business account

  • Personal Instagram accounts are not supported.

Connect Instagram Business Account

  1. Navigate to Integrations

  2. Click Connect next to Instagram

  3. You will be redirected to Meta’s secure authorization screen

  4. Sign in using the Instagram account

  5. Select the Instagram Business account you want to connect

  6. Review the requested permissions

  7. Click Allow to grant access

Once connected, the Instagram Business account will appear as Connected in the Integrations section.


What Permissions Are Used

Hind Social requests only the permissions required to:

  • Identify the selected Facebook Page or Instagram Account

  • Publish posts on behalf of the Page

No access is requested for personal profiles, messages, friends lists, or advertising data.


What Happens After Connecting

After a Facebook Page is connected:

  • Community administrators can publish posts directly to the Page from Hind Social

  • Posting actions are initiated manually by administrators

  • The Page connection applies only to the selected community

Use of Meta Platform Data

Hind Social accesses and uses Meta Platform Data solely for the purpose of providing the services explicitly requested by the community administrator.

Platform Data is used only to:

  • Identify the Facebook Page or Instagram Business account selected by the admins

  • Publish posts created within Hind Social to the connected accounts

All actions are performed on behalf of the community and only after explicit authorization is granted by an administrator.


Data Limitations and Restrictions

Hind Social does not access, collect, store, or process the following:

  • Personal Facebook or Instagram user profile data

  • Private messages, inboxes, or direct communications

  • Friends, followers, or audience relationship data

  • Advertising, targeting, profiling, or behavioral analytics data

Meta Platform Data is not used for any purpose beyond providing the requested publishing functionality.

User Control and Consent

  • Only authorized community administrators may connect or disconnect Meta integrations

  • All access to Meta Platform Data is permission-based and granted through Meta’s authorization process

  • Admins may revoke access at any time through:

    • Hind Social integration settings, or

    • Meta Business Manager or account settings

Upon revocation, Hind Social will no longer access Meta Platform Data for the affected community.


Security and Data Protection

Hind Social implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Platform Data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Access credentials are securely stored and limited to the scope necessary to provide the service.


Business Portfolios

Hind Social does not manage or control multiple business portfolios on behalf of clients. Each community independently connects and manages its own Facebook Page and Instagram Business account.
